University of Hertfordshire - Blackboards go virtual

五月 20, 2010

A European Union-commissioned project could soon see students of all ages learning in 3D. The Avatar Project is being led by computer scientists at the University of Hertfordshire, who have been training staff to teach in 3D environments. By 2012, it is hoped that they will have helped train 100 teachers across Europe to teach to a high standard in virtual worlds. The next phase of the project will see Hertfordshire working with the University of Southern Denmark to build a virtual world.
