University of Edinburgh - Good teacher nominations sought

十二月 4, 2008

Lecturers, tutors and dissertation supervisors who are also good teachers are getting a boost this week with the launch of awards organised by the Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA). Students will nominate academics in a range of categories, including best feedback, outstanding communication, and best use of innovative teaching methods. The winners will be announced in the spring. Robert Jenkin, EUSA's teaching and learning convener, said: "These awards will aim to highlight best practice, and let good teachers know that students appreciate them, even if they feel the university doesn't."
