University of East Anglia - Literary talent springs forth

Authors Will Self and Ian McEwan, historian Simon Schama and broadcaster Joan Bakewell are among those taking part in this year's Spring Literary Festival at the University of East Anglia. Acclaimed academics including Steve Jones, professor of genetics at University College London, will take part in a series of lectures associated with the festival, which begin on 5 March. Jon Cook, dean of the faculty of arts and humanities, said: "This is an exciting and varied programme, and we are extremely pleased to present such a range of talent."
