University of Cumbria - Wandering with the MA crowd

The Lake District, the inspiration for writers and poets including William Wordsworth and John Ruskin, is set to inspire postgraduates, not only with its literary and cultural heritage but also with its scenery. The University of Cumbria is launching an MA in literature, Romanticism and the English Lake District, taught at its Ambleside campus in the Lake District National Park. Course leader Penny Bradshaw, senior lecturer in English, said: "The MA offers the unique opportunity to study within these influential surroundings and to develop a deeper understanding of creative responses to this region."
