University of Coventry - Master the art of success

十月 16, 2008

Can entrepreneurship be taught? The University of Coventry thinks so, and has launched a new MA in Global Entrepreneurship to prove it. The two-year course, to be offered from January 2009, will be part-time, and is aimed at people already in business as well as graduate students. Gideon Maas, director of Coventry's Institute for Applied Entrepreneurship, said that links with the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade would ensure that the course had a truly international outlook. "China is one of the world's fastest-growing economies and offers a major development opportunity for UK entrepreneurs," he said. "Shanghai will support the programme through a week- long study trip giving students an understanding of international entrepreneurship, an insight into a different culture, and potentially (offer) entry for our entrepreneurs into the local business world."
