University of Aberdeen - Because patients are people, too

The "human side" of the medical profession is to be explored at the University of Aberdeen. It has launched courses based on the premise that there is more to caring for the human body and mind than biological sciences and technology. Students will explore the history, philosophy and ethics of medicine, the role of spirituality in health and illness, and disability in society. The courses are offered by Aberdeen's Centre for Lifelong Learning.
