University for the Creative Arts - Swing out, sisters

七月 22, 2010

A piece of art inspired by the rise of female pugilism is among the exhibits going on display to celebrate the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London. The Olympia exhibition in Farnham, Surrey was put together by staff and students at the University for the Creative Arts, and includes photographs by Zadoc Nava, whose installation celebrates the decision to make women's boxing an Olympic sport for the first time in 2012. It was produced as part of the Creative Campus Initiative, which is bringing British universities together to create a programme of cultural events in the run-up to the Games.
