Unexpected outcomes

Students from disadvantaged backgrounds seeking to study law at East Anglia University have been offered places despite being predicted lower exam grades than the standard offer. The university is one of eight to use the new National Admissions Test for Law, which university hopefuls sat in November. Many students who were predicted relatively low grades did well enough in the test to gain places.
