A conference on sustainable urban development within the context of the UN-HABITAT project will take place in Nanning, China, from 9 to 11 November. The event is being held in collaboration with the European Union.
The event will bring together representatives from the scientific community and local government in order to evaluate research approaches and results. Further scientific cooperation activities will also be discussed.
The main themes of the conference will be:
- urban governance and sustainable management and planning;
- sustainable land-use planning;
- sustainable housing and construction.
