TTA launches guides to assess trainees' skills

The Teacher Training Agency has set up a consortium led by Liverpool Hope University College to develop a CD-Rom, videocassette and booklets to guide teachers and heads in assessing the skills of trainee teachers. Trainees must demonstrate they can meet national standards before being awarded qualified teacher status.
