The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs are offering the Sustainable livestock production LINK Programme. The aim of this programme is to initiate collaborative, pre-commercial research and technological development projects so that UK livestock production can maintain its economic competitiveness - with due regard for animal health and welfare, and environmental concerns - thereby contributing to both the health and the wealth of the nation.
