Thames gets all-clear

Thames Valley University has received a clean bill of health from the standards watchdog. The Quality Assurance Agency, which identified Thames as failing in 1999, endorsed academic quality and standards in its first full review of the university since the special review. Peter Williams, chief executive of the QAA, said: "The QAA is pleased to be able to publish a positive institutional review report on Thames Valley University."
