So who says politicians are desperate to get on television? Delighted to see the cameras turn up for last week's election forum in Cardiff, local AUT organisers were more than a little nonplussed when the Labour and Conservative representatives took a deal of persuading to go on with the discussion, fearing that some deviation from the party line would land them on the evening news as the day's gaffe.
