Symposium examines relationship between digital technology and cultural and scientific heritage

A research symposium entitled 'arts and humanities in the digital domain' will take place on 6 and 7 October in Salzburg, Austria.

The main aim of the symposium will be to examine the relationship between digital technology and cultural and scientific heritage and suggest how artists, curators, scientists, educators and publishers can reap the benefits from digital solutions.

Specifically, the symposium will focus on the latest results of a European monitoring study on digital technologies relevant for the cultural and scientific heritage sector - The DigiCULT project is funded under the Fifth Framework programme's information society technology (IST) subsection.
