The government's 14-19 education strategy may fail unless it urgently addresses the issue of giving children impartial advice about which subjects they should take at 14 and where to study, says the Association of Colleges. In a poll commissioned by the AoC, as many as a third of young people said their school did not give them enough information about their options.
