Students warned off risky share dealing

The Chinese Government has warned its enterprising students against playing the stock market after an increase in the number of share-related clubs on campuses.

Wang Xuming, spokesman for the Ministry of Education, said students could not afford the risks of share dealing because most of their income comes from their parents. The number of share-trading accounts has grown rapidly in China after the markets rebounded at the start of last year after four years in the doldrums.
