Students' storeys of woe

Who says students are getting soft? The following string of complaints recently landed on the Whistleblower's desk. Students at Westminster University are furious that their central London rooms on Baker Street - costing £78 a week, a bargain by London standards - echo traffic noise. Moreover, on one floor of the building, six people rather than three have to share a toilet. One of the lifts has been out of order for a month. There are no separate floors for vegetarians. And there are no curtains in the common room. Whatever next?
