Scots backing for comprehensive schools

Scots back the country's current system of comprehensive education, according to researchers at Edinburgh University's Moray House school of education. The researchers gave the results of a Scottish Executive consultation on the future of the school system, which show widespread support for the comprehensive system. But there were calls for a more flexible curriculum, with fears that it did not meet the needs of all young people.
