Ottoman Turkish manuscripts were the focus of a four-day specialist workshop convened by the School of Oriental and African Studies. The event, funded by the Wellcome Foundation Library, was led by Philip Jaggar, professor of West African linguistics, and Nikolaj Serikoff, from the Asian Collections projects at the foundation. The event was part of a series of manuscriptology workshops covering old Asian and African medical manuscripts and manuscript cultures.
