This annual award is worth £15,000 and is offered to support a multidisciplinary research expedition associated with the study of inland or coastal wetlands, rivers or the shallow (less than 200m) marine environment. This includes the study of coral reefs.
The project should be of value to the host country and, where possible, to the local community.
