Royal College of Art - Supporting act named

A new building will be named after the inventor of a bagless vacuum cleaner. The Royal College of Art has announced that its new fine art block will be called the Dyson Building after the industrial designer, inventor and entrepreneur Sir James Dyson. His educational charity recently pledged £5 million to support the project - the largest single private donation in the college's history. The Dyson Building represents the most substantial phase of the RCA's new campus development in Battersea, south London.
