Revamp is Rebirth

三月 26, 1999

(Photograph) - Tim Brook, Boris Muller and Marcus Gosling, postgraduate students at the Royal College of Art, London, used Macromedia Director to create Revamp, a program that lets a group of people on networked Macintosh computers control a live techno music performance. Underneath Revamp is Rebirth, a Swedish company's software re-creation of the classic Roland TB-303, TB-808 and TB-909 synthesisers. Revamp replaces Rebirth's many knobs and buttons with pulsating coloured shapes. The music changes as they are repositioned on the screen. Information and download: www.revamp.org.
