Research on the development of a global technical regulation for non-road mobile machinery

The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) has published a call for tenders for research on the development of a global technical regulation for non-road mobile machinery.

The study should compare different test procedures for the transient testing of pollutants from non-road mobile machinery developed in the US, Japan and Europe. It should identify similarities and controversial items, and provide scientific and technical advice in the field of air pollution measurement from non-road mobile machinery in order to prepare a test protocol serving as basis for a Global Technical Regulation.
