In an unusually frank profile of Stuart Reid, Glasgow University's dean of veterinary medicine, in the university's newsletter, Dr Reid reveals he once narrowly avoided being formally cautioned in Paris for doing a handstand in a kilt on the Champs-Elysées. "It was a rugby tour and it was February; the gendarme dropped the case due to lack of evidence."
