African students at the universities of Rabat and Casablanca in Morocco protested to the university authorities that they became the victims of racist propaganda after a private television station claimed that an African student killed a Moroccan child for food. On investigation, the alleged cannibalism was discovered to be a hoax, but African students received racist insults on and off campus.
