Trainee doctors and drama students have come together to debate the ethical questions around "designer babies" in a new approach to medical education. The students at Queen's University Belfast joined forces with a theatre director, a choreographer and a medical ethicist to explore on stage the ethics of reproduction. The resulting performance, PERFECT, examined why parents may choose to have a so-called "designer baby", the public perceptions of making difficult ethical choices and the experiences of doctors and researchers in the field.
