The role of women in higher education is explored through a new online exhibition. Women at Queen Mary Online: A Virtual Exhibition celebrates the part played by women throughout the history of the four institutions that make up Queen Mary, University of London. Virtual tours include more than 60 audio clips, such as one featuring Elizabeth Blackwell, who trained at St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College in 1850 and was the first fully qualified female doctor of medicine.
