Provision for faiths is holy inadequate

Universities could do more to cater for students of different faiths. Higher Education and Student Religious Identity from Exeter University and The Inter Faith Network for the United Kingdom examined how universities are responding to the religious needs of an increasingly diverse student and staff body. While there are many examples of good practice, provision remains patchy. Examples include providing appropriate space for worship, catering for special dietary needs and willingness to adapt timetables to religious festivals.
