Darwin College, Cambridge, has announced its lecture series for 2002, which will be on the theme of "power". Speakers will include veteran politician Tony Benn and Mary Archer. The college is keeping them as far apart as possible, however. Mr Benn is due to open the series, Dr Archer is to close it. Mr Benn will speak on "power and democracy" while Dr Archer will confine her discussion of power to the sustainable variety.
