The European Commission and the European Patent Office (EPO) will hold the PATINNOVA and EPO Patent Information conferences in Budapest, Hungary, from 8 to 10 November.
The event will provide a discussion forum for policy-makers, entrepreneurs and organisations involved in the research and innovation system.
Under the title 'Turning knowledge into value for competitiveness', PATINNOVA'05 will focus on intellectual property (IP) management as a business strategy for growth. Small businesses' concerns will also be addressed. The EPO Patent Information Conference (EPIDOS) will be held in parallel, and will focus on the latest developments in the retrieval of patent information and tools available on the market.
