Exam board Edexcel is to support colleges and other centres delivering MOUS, a qualification for users of Microsoft Office applications. Test centres set their own prices but are expected to charge about Pounds 40. Students preferring a vendor-neutral qualification could consider the European Computer Driving Licence, backed by the British Computer Society (www.bcs.org.uk), which requires an initial investment of Pounds 25 for a "log book".
