Oz v-cs broaden appeal

一月 12, 2001

The Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee has upgraded its website to broaden its appeal and to provide easier access for staff and students to university activities.

Among new features are pages detailing information on university research and an online news service with the latest announcements by the nation's 38 universities. The research pages provide news of findings in the natural sciences, technology, social sciences and the humanities. Students can access any of Australia's student admission centres. Academics can find the latest job vacancies with hotlinks to "Unijob", a university online employment service. Universities can also link directly to the Australian Bureau of Statistics database through the website. There are direct links as well to Australia's two higher education newspapers.
