The Organisation for the promotion of energy technologies (OPET) of Bavaria-Austria will host two seminars on 7 and 8 March as part of World Energy Days 2002.
The first seminar, on 7 March, will address the issue of 'Innovative solar technologies', giving an overview of future trends, technical innovations and successful solar projects throughout the world.
On 8 March, a seminar on 'Financing sustainable energy investment' will outline successful financing schemes that make sustainable energy investment worthwhile for investors, owners and the general public.
Both events are being organised in the framework of World Sustainable Energy Days 2002, held on the 7 and 8 March and organised by the cross-border OPET Bavaria-Austria. The OPET network for the promotion of energy technologies is supported as an accompanying measure under the Fifth EU Framework programme for research, FP5.
The energy days will be preceded by an 'Energy gala' held on 6 March, where the Energy Globe Awards 2002 will be presented.
