The DAAD London office administers funding programmes for the UK and Ireland, and generally provides information about study and research in Germany.
One-year Scholarships
Applications are invited from graduating and graduate students, PhD candidates and recent PhDs to study and/or research at any German university, Fachhochschule or research institute for one academic year from October 2001. Applications are requested from students with at least a 2:1 degree and there is an age limit of 32. Students in the arts, humanities and social sciences should have a good command of German. The DAAD encourages applicants to contact an academic supervisor at a German host institution of their choice.
