* In last week's THES Bristol University senior physics tutor Jef Odell was quoted as saying "of course students cheat" with regard to the university's ability to police high-tech cheating in student exams. He has asked us to point out that he actually said with regard to the university's policy on cheating that "clearly students can cheat".
