The National Union of Students redefined itself further as a consumer rights organisation this week by outlining plans for new electronic services.
Every further and higher education student in the country could have access to free email and to discounted online shopping. Every campus union could have free web space, an e-commerce mall for campus union shops, a free computer if they do not have one, free-phone technical support and guaranteed online editorial freedom.
