The scheme consists of: a partnership between a 'new' post-doctoral social scientist and an 'established' (senior) social scientist that will clearly increase research capacity; a jointly proposed project that will increase the skills and knowledge, and thus clearly advance the career development, of the new career fellow, and have a clear relation to the advancement of 'social well-being'; foundation funding of up to three years' salary for the 'new career' post and some support for the senior partner, as well as research project costs.
