Channel 4 newsreader Jon Snow will speak at Northumbria University on how a rapidly changing world and new technologies are affecting the way television reports the news. Describing his lecture, Mr Snow said: "We are living in turbulent times, nationally and globally. The development of technology has dramatically changed the way we report news and how it is produced, broadcast and accessed." He will also use the visit to give a class to a group of 30 journalism students.
