Non-clinical career development fellowships aim to attract and retain talented postdoctoral scientists in research related to arthritis and musculoskeletal disease and to provide outstanding candidates with the opportunity to develop an independent research career and progress towards higher level appointments. Applicants should normally have between 3 to 6 years postdoctoral research experience and should be associated with an established sponsor, preferably within a multidisciplinary research group. Postdoctoral fellowships are awarded by biannual competition and are normally for up to 5 years with the possibility of 3-year renewal.
