Minutes of the monthly meetings of the Department for Education and Skills' research forum, chaired by Sir Graeme Davies, have appeared on the web. But they give little clue about what this mysterious, high-powered body has been doing since it was set up in November last year. "You could interpret the limited amount of information in the public minutes as a sign that the forum has been doing interesting things and will present radical recommendations," one member of the forum told us, "but you'd be wrong."
