Going out on a limb is artist Anthony-Noel Kelly (see Antithesis, passim), due to appear at Southwark Crown Court on Monday where he will plead to charges of stealing body parts. If the talented Mr Kelly, a chum of Prince Charles, pleads guilty, a sentence is likely to follow. If he pleads not guilty, a trial will ensue. Here he may rely on a 400-year-old common law maxim which says that body parts cannot be stolen because they are not property: watch this space to see whether the judge swallows the argument.
