Some people collect stamps; others collect beer mats. Ged Martin, of Edinburgh Univer-sity's Centre of Canadian Studies, has a much classier collection: he has hoarded every issue of The THES between 1982 and 2000.
Professor Martin, who willshortly take early retirement, wants to find a good home for the back issues.
He says he will not even charge anyone who is willing to take them off his hands.
