Less good news for another Mancunian, Ged Roddy, Bath University's director of sports development and recreation. Delighted to be interviewed about his work with Bath Rugby Club for a sports magazine, he was a little less amused when the article described him as a Liverpudlian who supports Everton. Ged, a Manchester City supporter, will not be taking this insult to court, but he reckons this is as near to the classic libel definition of "likely to lower you in the opinion of right-thinking people" as you can get.
