NASA Should Commit to Hubble Servicing Mission, says U.S. National Academies Study (links)

NASA should not make any decisions that preclude future space shuttle missions to the Hubble Space Telescope until the agency more thoroughly examines the engineering and technology requirements of repair robotic and human missions, says a new report from the National Academies' Space Studies Board and Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board.
