More sparkle needed

Perhaps Higher Education Minister Bill Rammell could set a better example to the nation's vice-chancellors. He turned up at the rather glamorous National Teaching Fellowship Awards last Thursday night wearing a suit - while everyone else was in sparkly dresses and dinner jackets. Is he jumping the gun by trying to look like Gordon Brown before he gets the top job?
