Merton is top again

八月 10, 2007

Graduates of Merton College, Oxford have again been the most successful in their final exams, according to the official Norrington Table.

Merton has been top of the table, which ranks colleges according to their students' degree results, for several years running. Warden Jessica Rawson said: "Our undergraduates have enjoyed extremely good examination results for many years and we think this is because they create among themselves a spirit of intellectual co-operation that enables each of them to realise their potential."

Magdalen College came in second place, followed by Christ Church. Last was Harris Manchester College. The table has only recently been published by Oxford, after unofficial versions were compiled by newspapers with the help of students.
