MEDEA+, the industry-driven, pan-European programme for innovation and advanced cooperative research and development in nano and microelectronics, created under the EUREKA umbrella, has launched a call for proposals.

Project outlines can be submitted at any time, and will be evaluated continuously. Proposals may address any area covered in the MEDEA+ White Book 2, and proposals pertaining to work areas so far not fully addressed by projects are very welcome.

The focus of MEDEA+ is 'system innovation on silicon for the e-economy'. The programme's central objective is to stimulate innovation and provide the technology platform that will allow Europe, through its microelectronics and systems industry, to move into the information age, contributing to the creation of increased employment and economic prosperity.
