A half day workshop on the use of web-based platforms to manage communication and information sharing within large projects under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will take place in Cambridge, UK, on 12 November.
Focusing on Integrated Projects and Networks of Excellence, the workshop will also address the management of knowledge generated by the project, as well as its dissemination.
Discussions will centre around the following three issues:
- how web-based tools can made a significant contribution to the management and impact of FP6 Integrated Projects and Networks of Excellence;
- the desired functionality of web-based platforms in FP6 projects;
- currently available web-based tools, including a demonstration of a developed system.
