MA candidate appeals against 'plagiarism'

Kamran Beg, 26, who was denied his Cambridge University MA following accusations of plagiarism, has won leave in the High Court for a judicial review of Cambridge's disciplinary procedure. Beg, 26, who was found guilty of plagiarism at a Cambridge internal tribunal, claims he was victimised and subjected to an "antiquated" disciplinary procedure which ran like an "old boys' network".
