LSE appeals against discrimination ruling

The London School of Economics has lodged an appeal against an employment tribunal ruling that found it guilty of sexual discrimination.

Helen Mercer, a lecturer in business history, accused the school of direct discrimination in denying her a permanent post, and indirect discrimination through the research assessment exercise.
